My name is Alwyn Wood. My training in the Bowen Technique was undertaken through the European College of Bowen Studies thebowentechnique.com

I am a member of the Bowen Therapists’ European Register(MBTER), the main accrediting body for the technique that now has more than 500 members. Alongside their Bowen training, practitioners accredited by the Register have studied anatomy and physiology to Diploma level, and have a current First Aid Certificate. They are required to attend regular professional development courses to enhance their skills. BTER also provides members with a code of ethics and practice.

My interest in complementary medicine has been over many years. I am a General Natural Therapist (GNT) with a Diploma in Advanced Holistic Practice (D.AHP). That training was undertaken through the Integrative College of Holistic Medicine which is affiliated to and accredited by the Association of Holistic Practitioners (International) and the Open International University for Complementary Medicine. gnpg.co.uk
